Yanis Varoufakis is a Greek economist, academic and politician, who served as the Greek Minister of Finance from January to July 2015, when he resigned. Whereas Noam Chomsky, described as “the father of modern linguistics”, is an American linguist, philosopher, cognitive scientist, historian, social critic and political activist.
