One of the most amazing phrases of the book is

"The Worse thing that can happen to a person is to become so desperate that you decide to sell your soul to the devil only to discover that the devil isn’t buying"

When you have a high university degree and you work so hard to get your master then some of you continue to take his MBA, PHD etc. you are studying so hard pushing your self so much to achieve your dream, so for sure you will have high expectation, and suddenly your find yourself jobless looking for any job which is offering peanuts, and you are shocked that even these small jobs which are paying peanuts are not hiring YOU. who to blame for the growth of the unemployment?

later he talks about collective success by giving a very nice example about hunters.

He explains that If you have a goal or dream that can only be achieved collectively, then dream and dedication are not enough you should have trust in your colleagues to achieve that success collectively.

As well he describes how the business owners decide to hire or not.

Last but not least in my opinion if we are looking for the correct side to blame about unemployment and salary decrease we have to blame the politics of austerity or neoliberalism.

Yanis Varoufakis
An accidental economist Let me begin with a confession: I am a Professor of Economics who has never really trained as an economist. But let’s take things one at a time.
