Steve Keen (born 28 March 1953) is an Australian-born, British-based economist and author. He considers himself a post-Keynesian, criticising neoclassical economics as inconsistent, unscientific and empirically unsupported. The major influences on Keen's thinking about economics include John Maynard Keynes, Karl Marx, Hyman Minsky, Piero Sraffa, Augusto Graziani, Joseph Alois Schumpeter, Thorstein Veblen, and François Quesnay.

    • Not possible since these are done by a marketing firm and not by me. But this one is from the Demystifying Science podcast.

    • @@ProfSteveKeen It would be great if the marketing firm could to that though. You could almost say it's pretty… bad marketing tactic if a short doesn't link anywhere.

  3. When did "real capitalism" happen? Everyone agrees it's failed everywhere and been replaced by (pick your term) "crony capitalism" for over a century now, but before that it was propped up by colonial violence the whole time.

    Whatever you want to call it, it's not giving us a very good supply of widgets nowadays.
