Absolutely agree about the failure to get education from University if you and the institute do not know what the educational objective is, but this situation is carried forward forever and repeating the message without the cure is guaranteed continuous FAILURE.
Eg an institution of pure research, teaching and learning does not suddenly reverse that purpose to close down the Economics Dept for be truthful, accurate, and successful in reaching student goals. Indicating that the design and execution of Constitutional Democracy is an obvious FAILURE to do the required job of preparing participants in a true democracy to understand and critique the votor/jury duty feedback of metastable governance.
Education is free and infinite with the internet. So many free resources for a person who wants to do anything. College/university is about schools making money, primarily. Everything is about money. "Education" is a means to an end, and the only acceptable end is money.
