The US has the highest incarceration rate in the world. For the more Machiavellian minded business people, this creates an opportunity. This month, the Center for Public Integrity reported that under contracts awarded 15 years ago by the Treasury Department, Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase have exclusive access to the banking needs of over 214,000 federal inmates. Erin weighs in.

Then, Erin sits down with Dr. Ann Pettifor – fellow at the New Economics Foundation and author of “Just Money: How Society Can Break the Despotic Power of Finance” – to discuss Europe and Argentina. Ann tells us what she believes is the biggest dilemma for Europe and suggests how Argentina should deal with the debt holdouts like NML Capital.

After the break, Edward Harrison talks to Aswath Damodaran – professor of economics at the Stern School of Business at NYU – to learn about corporate finance. Aswath goes over the four specific categories of what he calls a “walking dead company” and gives us his take on the recent Hewlett Packard split.

And in The Big Deal, Erin and Edward discuss whether the US economy is on the verge of another crisis. Take a look!
