The Declassified 28 Pages of the 9/11 Report

Summary:
Read it here for yourself:http://intelligence.house.gov/sites/intelligence.house.gov/files/documents/declasspart4.pdf Even though there are several passages where US government officials assert that the Saudi government wasn’t involved, the evidence in the report says otherwise. If this isn’t a scandal that stinks to high heaven, then I don’t know what is. And still parts of it are redacted – sometimes whole paragraphs.See here and here. However, I think the title of this is a bit silly. I find it hard to believe the whole Saudi government was involved in it. But any rational person reading the report carefully and the body of evidence would be driven to the conclusion that at least a faction or extremist group within the Saudi government was heavily involved in supporting the 9/11 hijackers. Particularly stunning are revelations about how the hijackers had contacts with Saudi naval officers:“FBI documents also indicate that several Saudi Naval officers were in contact with the September 11 hijackers. FBI documents state that the San Diego field office opened a counterterrorism investigation on an individual named Osama Nooh, a Saudi Naval officer, due to his association with Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar.

Particularly stunning are revelations about how the hijackers had contacts with Saudi naval officers:

“FBI documents also indicate that several Saudi Naval officers were in contact with the September 11 hijackers. FBI documents state that the San Diego field office opened a counterterrorism investigation on an individual named Osama Nooh, a Saudi Naval officer, due to his association with Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar. In addition, Lafi al-Harbi, another Saudi Naval officer, was in telephonic contact with flight 77 hijackers Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi on nine occasions from March 11, 2000 to March 27, 2000.

The Jacksonville FBI Field Office is conducting an investigation to determine whether Saleh Ahmed Bedaiwi, a Saudi Naval officer within its territory was in contact with any of the hijackers. [redacted paragraph follows].”
“Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001,” p. 431.

WTF?!?

Right at the point things get interesting the report is heavily redacted. What was in that redacted part? The full extent of the redaction can be seen here.

This is only one of the many damning aspects of this report.

Given how bellicose and patriotic Americans are, I really can’t understand why there isn’t a hysterical demand for war with Saudi Arabia sweeping the country after these revelations.

It’s a testimony to how poisoned American democracy is by the alliance with the oil-producing, extremist Wahhabi state of Saudi Arabia.

Michael Scheuer, the former CIA intelligence officer, Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station from 1996 to 1999, and Special Advisor to the Chief of Alec Station from September 2001 to November 2004, describes the threat from Saudi Arabia in an interview from 2011:
