The conversation happened during the action day HEY EU, TAX CO2 organised on the 23rd September 2020. The two European leaders discussed how carbon pricing policies should be adopted to ensure the ecological transition and social justice. But also the need for a democratization of the European Union, also through the strengthening of participatory democracy instruments.
