Steve Keen (born 28 March 1953) is an Australian-born, British-based economist and author. He considers himself a post-Keynesian, criticising neoclassical economics as inconsistent, unscientific and empirically unsupported. The major influences on Keen's thinking about economics include John Maynard Keynes, Karl Marx, Hyman Minsky, Piero Sraffa, Augusto Graziani, Joseph Alois Schumpeter, Thorstein Veblen, and François Quesnay.

  1. "Book" is a wildly generous title for this document. In another genre is might optimistically be called a graphic novel. Had it been given away in boxes of cereal in the 1960's or 70's it would have said on the label "Free Comic Book Inside!" 😮

    • Agreed, but marketing 'n' all (which I don't control). It is in fact part 1 of a 3 part graphic novel. I've tried getting this message across in more formal contexts, to limited avail, so I thought "why not?" with this format.
