Ty, I would recommend sampling a number of voice acting channels. Some basic habits to develop. They usually have some advice about mic setup. There are channels that address setting EQ. For men, there are typical frequencies that can be bumped and others that are generally slightly damped to improve clarity etc.
It takes a little time and fiddling but it's not bad… believe it or not in the radio business they run something called the aural exciter.. yes, it's called that.. that umm plumps up the narrators voice.
Yeah. I just started new software this week for the audio, will get it better for next week. I also have been playing with adjusting my webcam settings using OBS as you can tell with the red face. Will get it dialed in soon enough.
