Summary:
This book gives account of different periods of human era and the explains the  causes of human inequality of different stages. Thomas Piketty in this book convinces the readers that the current period, particularly, last few decades are the good time in the history wherein the gap between the rich and poor has understandably narrowed down. This book further reveals many factors as how rich people with numerous properties manipulated the governments to exploit poor communities. Thanks to the new tax schemes of different governments and the collective efforts of different organizations,the inequality of income and wealth is coming down slowly. Well researched book. Thomas Piketty
Thomas Piketty (7 May 1971) is a French economist who works on wealth and income inequality. He is a professor (directeur d'études) at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), associate chair at the Paris School of Economics and Centennial professor at the London School of Economics new International Inequalities Institute.
