  8. Huge freight trains still move east through Tucson. A few weeks ago they seemed to have disappeared but coming back from Phoenix I saw three of them in a 30 mile stretch south of Casa Grande. I do think they aren't quite as common as last summer but may be wrong. This has been going on for at least 5 months. I've never seen such a volume of traffic.
    Costco parking lots are jammed with weekend shoppers.
