If government spending is not funded by taxes, at least at the Federal level, then why do we have to pay taxes?
I just did last week the same example about the swimming pool to a friend. Is so simple that is too difficult to understand. Instead when I talk about the creation of the money and the power has who control the "tap" to send the water to the "customers" So if I own all the land to produce food in agriculture but I do not control the Tap of the water I have no power to. If the guy does not open the tap I am dead.
