I’m with you on finding corruption and making things more efficient. But the lion share of what they’re claiming is complete bullshit. There is no 50 million going to condoms and the rest of the stuff is either complete lies or exaggerations. I’d love to see some proof of half of what they claim they are finding. It’s the same as everything else that they say that can be easily fact checked. Just nonsense for the masses.
Tax cuts are on the table.
I think finding government corruption is a net benefit.
Government should return any waste that's discovered in the form of tax cuts or investment in infrastructure.
Pretty sensible.
Although it feels like negotiating with a fraudster to get your own stuff back.
It’s not great. The examples of stupid expenditures were insignificant. 40k, 80k, even 100k on lgbtq plays, books. That’s all insignificant in billion dollar budgets.
You sure about that check the facts
Mike, the reason to still be happy, even though youre not getting the money back, is the comfort in knowing that the yahoos steeling from us are no longer in the loop.. its a step forward.
So, only Elon, a billionaire from South Africa, is in the loop? You’re not even in the loop yourself!!!
What about stopping the currently $1000B annual interest transfer from the gov to the rich?
Don't worry — we're paying them back with counterfeits 😉
Income tax cut benefits elon. Replaced with what? A tariff? That will be a flat tax on consumption that will disproportionately hit lower income workers. Combined with big spending cuts it will cause a recession.
I just don't know how anyone can be against what Elon is doing unless you're crooked in some way.
Are you kidding? He is a business man, doing business in the USA, who now has access to all his competitors inside information—especially government contracts. Where is your head?
And furthermore, government is supposed to be for US, not for ELON.
@@monbonica4362 This is the kind of misinformation that makes normal US citizens think like rabid liberals. Elon only has access to the same information that a consultant would have access to. He finds discrepancies, reports them to Trump, and Trump makes the call, NOT ELON. To suggest otherwise is to play into the anti Trump propaganda presented by legacy media.
So stupid cutting USAID. That's US soft power, and most of the money goes to US citizens. Here in Thailand, the country has already pivoted towards China, and this week China are encouraging Thailand (a traditional US ally and trade partner) to build a better relationship with China as the US is now considered unreliable. The kids, some of them teenagers, working for Musk can't possibly grasp the bigger picture, let alone the fiscal flows.
The Biden administration has lied from day 1 – we need to know the Truth about everything… Even if it goes back hundreds of years
❤👁
It was all in project 2025. Trump lied when he said it wasn’t his plan.
Come on. George Soros organizations getting hundreds of millions to destroy the country. Let's cut that crap out.
How do we the people benefit? Seriously? Tax cuts man! Better government infrastructure man! Do you go outside and walk around? I've had to call the cops 4 times in the last year. Cops only showed up timely once! I pay 500k in taxes a year and i get crap services.
Those beneficial activities are obvious . That's kind of the point. When resources increase (eg, more taxes, less spending), those obvious benefits never seem to scale up proportionately. That's the point. He's saying even if you agree with freeing up govt resources, that's not enough and those resources are not really free if they don't end up going back to the source — you.
@OurNewestMember huh? I'm not understanding what your saying. Its not making any sense to me.
Theres 2 guys. They both make 100k a year. Over 10 years one is 1 million in debt living in a rental apartment… and the other is worth 20 million and debt free with paid off real estate.
Thats what efficiency can do. If your looking at the money your missing what is going on. This is bigger than the money… this is about efficiency. Thats what will greatly improve all Americans lives. You absolutely will get benefit back.
@@SmartestDumbGuy If I understand what you're saying, I think we agree on the benefits of good financial stewardship.
My point is that this concept is pretty obvious but the public policy never quite seems to match up.
And that's the problem: the typical person generally wants sensible things (like appropriate public services, reasonable debt), but public figures do not deliver on it even when it should be possible.
So there's reason to be concerned about freeing up public resources because the people near the power levels tend not to do what the public wants with the resources.
😂 You pay what?
Elroy wants to be a trillionaire!
Thank you Mike. It’s great to hear how you see this situation!
You get a lower interest rate
Mike all for cutting the fat, exposing fraud Melania Trump did support appearances for USAID, and his daughter Ivanka took money from USAID personal use. All hippocrits, dangerous to democracy.
Net result Musk net worth jumped 250 billion sure glad he is so concerned about more efficient government a Nazi saluting asshole. I am watching the puppy bowl, for two reasons Trump appearing and Fox News presenting. Achtung Mien Fuher!! Genius Musk so was racist Ford.
Yesterday at the beach I watched, and heard, these fat, white, Fire Department Union guys (I’m also Union, but not Fire) who were out on the jetty fishing for their dinner—get so excited that USAID was getting shut down because of CORRUPTION. But not one time did it occur to them that NONE of that money was earmarked for them. While they fished for their dinner. In the Union all we do is talk about money, but these boys still couldn’t make that connection. I almost started a fight them because despite the corruption, lots of helpless women and children were being saved. They probably would have decked me. In Texas, you can’t think differently than a man, especially a riled up man, they’ll hurt you. Even a Fire Dept Union man, they’ll would have decked me. So I stayed in my car.
If they really would think about where is that money going, maybe they could start making better sense of DOGE. Maybe they would start making better sense in general.
You want your share?? Talk to a Democrat. They stole our money.
