RT – Trump says deal with North Korea ‘very much in the making’

Summary:
With some Democrats coming to their senses and changing their minds about Russia, and with this meeting, things are looking a bit better. But guess what, Jasper Becker in the Guardian yesterday, that nice liberal paper, said that, 'A Trump ‘deal’ with Kim Jong-un would only help a despicable regime survive'.  I wanted to write in but CiF was closed early and only had 248 comments which might have meant it was only open for 20 minutes, or so. I wanted to write in and say that the US installed a fascist regime in the South Korea which started eliminating thousands of people. The majority of the people in the south wanted the US installed regime out and welcomed the north's intervention, but the US scorch earthed NK carpet bombing it and 20% of the population died. They were driven senseless

They were driven senseless and that's why the regime today seems unhinged today, very paranoid, and insular.  KV

US President Donald Trump believes he is capable of reaching a deal with North Korea that will be a “very good one for the world,” he said, after agreeing to talks with Pyongyang following Kim Jong-un’s invitation for a meeting.

“The deal with North Korea is very much in the making and will be, if completed, a very good one for the World,” Trump tweeted on Friday evening, adding that the time and the place of the planned meeting is still to be determined.
Trump agreed to hold discussions with North Korea, provisionally expected sometime in May, after a South Korean delegation, which met with Kim on Monday, delivered his personal invitation for talks to the US president.
