Summer schedule

Summary:
Guy makes some good points… Hard to see anything getting done by month end….  He has debt ceiling being dealt with in September/October…..  June deficit just ended was 220b so if TGA is 450b at end July then they can go at least 2 months at that USD savings rate till they’re out of money so that’s into October…20 Senate work days until the August recess. That's 20 days to deal with HR1, voting rights, police reform, infrastructure, etc. Focus in Sep-Oct will shift to budget, debt ceiling, etc. Then holidays and into an election year where no big bills likely. Ds need to get going.— Rich Engstrom (@rdengstrom) July 7, 2021
