Summary:
If Pepe Escobar didn't state it explicitly enough, here it is clearly: Ukraine, acting as a proxy for NATO (read US and UK) has launched a war of terror against Russia. Along with other recent incidents striking into Russia/Crimea, this appears to be the vaunted counter-offensive. Now the question is what will Russia do about it. While the chief concern of most is revenge, the reality is that this is looking like a new tactic, based on an old strategy, undermine Russian public opinion to overthrow Putin. The likely result, however, is that it will enrage Russian against the perps.
