Trump & Constitutional Amendment 14, Section 3

Trump & Constitutional Amendment 14, Section 3, J.P. Jefferson Posting Trump & Constitutional Amendment 14, Section 3 Should Donald Trump be on the ballot in 2024? Now before the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS), appealed from the recent 4-3 decision of the Colorado Supreme Court. I’m pretty sure that the Trump-loaded SCOTUS will find some bizarre interpretation of the obvious and allow the 4-time indicted, twice-impeached...

Trade the Southern Border for Ukraine and Israel

Parts of the Mexican border are already closed due to the influx of migrants. Puerto Peñasco or Rocky Point and Lukeville crossing, Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras, San Ysidro, etc. and several rail crossings. Reader Jim Han offered up a Thom Hartmann commentary suggesting Dems take the deal Repubs are offering up. Thom also points the finger at Repub commentary claiming a Biden policy opened southern borders to all who can get to it. Not true...

“Humble Pi” When Math Goes Wrong

My whole life has been centered around mathematics. It was not until much later when I was told I may, might, could have a talent for writing. It did not dawn on me then as my life’s course or desire was to be an engineer of some type. It never happened because of a little downturn in demand for engineers in the seventies. VP of Patents and Trademarks at USG convinced me then to get some type of degree in Business. I had two years of Calculus to back...

Something Controversial to Discuss on Saturday

Controversial? My Background? XMarine Sergeant E5 served 68-71. Not an 0311. Was made a Sergeant a couple of months into my third year. Excellent shot with M14. Served during the Vietnam years when we were doing most of the fighting. US pulls out and South Vietnam collapses. US assists Afghanistan in fighting. Michigan’s Land and Water Contamination

Having lived in Michigan for twenty-seven plus years, we became aware of PFAS in the surrounding water and land towards the later part of the time period. Much of it was due to the closure or abandonment of businesses in and around the area. Some of the lakes nearby were impacted by land runoff from these sites. Warnings were posted about not eating the fish caught from these lakes. Fortunately, our well was not impacted by it. Michigan is number...

Special Prosecutor Jack Smith files with SCOTUS

To get to SCOTUS first and decide whether trump has immunity from any and all criminal prosecution. This has been the heart of trump’s attorney filings and to delay. In the Southern Florida Federal District, we can see this emerging with a judge who appears to be promoting delays. The manner of which is similar in getting him to the 2024 election where once elected (if such can be) he can claim immunity to crimes committed. Then there is SCOTUS...

Don’t worry about the polls — yet

Infidel753, Don’t worry about the polls — yet, Infidel753 Blog I’ve previously discussed (scroll down a bit) why disagreeable poll results about next year’s election are not grounds for despair about the likely outcome.  In brief, while polling averages are usually a good indicator of what the public is thinking at a given moment, they don’t have much predictive value this far in advance of the election. As I mentioned in that post, given the...

Past Voting Practices and People Wonder Why?

Reading way too many comments about not voting or not voting for Biden. We backed away from Clinton in 2016 and we got a morally defunct almost a fascist or maybe a want-a-be as the president. In 2020, Biden was not my first choice either. I had seen too many times the impact of his programs coming out of the Senate. However, he did carry us through a pandemic with various positive economic programs. He was the right man for the job and the issues....

Native American child poverty doubled in 2022

This is a combination of two different posts. The first part is by the NCRC, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition. It offers up a wealth of detail expressed in numbers defining the issues confounding Native Americans. It is very brief and I would hope you follow the link to a larger array of statistics defining the issues. The second part is by the Economic Policy Institute. It is comparing the situation before the pandemic and after the...

“AI Understands The Importance Of Independent Congressional Rules,” Exposing The Underpinnings Of A Broken Government, J. P. McJefferson The Artificial Intelligence (AI) application ChatGPT understands the importance of independent reviews of Congressional Rules. ChatGPT says independent reviews are, “essential for various reasons.” Too bad “Real Intelligence (RI)” can’t seem to recognize those essential reasons. A simple inquiry, and AI...
