I just wish you wise guru types would tell people it's okay to go flat during times like this. If the most powerful man on the planet is making a date where he says he's going to upend global trade, that's pretty important. The more expertise I get doing this, I'm going to pass off the important bits like that. If it's nothing, you miss a week of gains. So what? You didn't have the money last week anyway. But if it is critical, well you may just lose everything. Someone in my group today claims to have lost one-million dollars.
I have nobody but myself to blame, but I'm a younger trader and we, your subscribers look up to you. I was very close to going flat and saw people like you who have the experience saying that you think the tariff stuff is all overblown. And here we are, one of the worst market crashes in history.
@@metsfanal Most of the gains in the stock market yearly are made in less than 14 trading days. So that's exactly why almost nobody recommends going flat to dodge a hypothetical storm. If your a trading your a gambler suck it up or get a productive job that doesn't just take money from the other fool on the wrong side of the trade. There's always 1 winner and 1 loser so your gonna complain half the time, nobody wants to hear it, stop idolizing people and use them as pieces of the puzzle which is all any of us are.

@ Well trump miscalculated tarrifs or lied about his intentions and they ended up being much stronger. Its hard to makes predictions based on a liar. I personally was out of the market and said sell but that's because I look at this tariff stuff as a way to slow down the world economies permanently and reduce emissions and environmental destruction. Keep in mind Elon and Trump were both just democrats if you think this isn't a coordinated plan I have my doubts. There are many angles to look at anything trading is high risk cant be mad about that and just understand what you got into.

I m a day trader using Elliott waves on charts. There has been many months of distribution – it was time to take profit of long positions from 2020. I feel sorry for traders like Mike who try to predict market using generic information such as bonds , interest rates, VIX, options etc… It s so painiful to watch Mike s videos. You can look up John Williams Monetary Policy Strategies for a Low-Neutral-Interest-Rate World. Now they are getting the inflation that would help them with this issue.
