  1. Thank you Mike. We are lost here. Crazy swings

  2. "Temporarily "

  3. Great work as always Mike! Love the podcast!

  4. this is great the debt limit will be extended until december. Dems are adamantly claiming that they won't use reconciliation to increase it in december, which means : that's exactly what they'll do. Christmas has come early this year.

  5. Can someone kindly explain the difference between the federal government outlay and net withdrawal ? Thanks.

    • Depends on context I think, but same thing. A net withdrawal FROM THE TREASURY ACCOUNT equals net US Govt outlay TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
Each dollar spent is added to the checking account of some recipient. Those aren't scattered into the air. Those are net deposits.

The mechanism is the Fed obeys Treasury by adding numbers to the bank whose Routing Number is on the payment, with instructions to add numbers to the account of the payee.

I think "allocation" means something slightly different, planned allocation of discretionary budget .. Defense, and other departments.

  6. thank god for for Mitch McConnell

  7. Let’s be reel I hate say this but the republicans are giving the democrats a one time free be the dems are in charge and need to corral there party the dems seems like a young girl having a tantrum because she can’t eat all that she wants someone has to be the parent in the room

  8. Don't households and corporations already have a lot of money stockpiled up? We could see a rally into the end of 2021 before the declines due to flows will show up. There's probably a lag.

  9. Do you think that the slow down in flows happened too late in the quarter to be reflected in the quarterly reports?

  10. The debt ceiling what a stupid ridiculous dumb s*** dumb f*** idea that should be eliminated. This is sheer political theater that means absolutely f**** nothing

  11. How does mcconnel in the minority have all the power?! Dems are just dumb…

As a foreigner i can confirm you guys look like a clown show with the ceiling…

  12. Where can I find details about the flows that Mike is talking about?

  13. Incredible. You have wonder if there are any adults in the room up there on the Hill.

  14. Prices are higher since the pandemic, so fiscal flows matching pre-pandemic levels would still be a comparative drop.
