Elon is mostly a PR guy. He also sees no problem in taking credit for other people's work. The biggest clue was when he went online to "pretend" to be one of the top players of a computer game, whereas it was obvious he couldn't even play the game. To me, that is Elon.

I think Musk has a far better understanding of economics than anyone of the MMT crowd. The economic and monetary system is by and large based on trade… upon production and construction and saving and investment. That's how the credit rating system works. Your personal income and your country's international trade and sales. There are loans, but adding value has always been the #1 requirement for advancement. Just magically adding numbers to anyone's accounts won't automatically raise production – see 180+ countries still running a government budget deficit after QE… the currency growth hasn't translated into revenue growth or in personal income growth… only more debt.
If I have to be critical of Elon Musk, I also think he's hurt or destroyed many legitimate businesses without much gain in terms of revenue for the economy. Simply lowering and raising import tariffs could achieved far more …. replacing government technologies, shutting down uncessary research programs, cutting down on unnecessary spending… that's where the real savings
lie. Lowering business taxes will help…. but the poor and middle class need tax cuts… not the wealthy alone …
Austerity only leads to greater wealth disparity. The government is not a household. Tariffs stifle trade. MMT is not a prescription, it is a description.

Another recent poll released by CNN similarly found 29% of voters view Democrats in a positive light, the lowest in CNN's polling since 1992. A lot of the blame goes to far left socialist/communist channels like this one that constantly spew lies and deceit. Sad where the Democrat party has gone.

Elon is a con man. He didn't design Tesla cars, he designed the Cybertruck. Hyperloop? Where is it? The Tesla Roadster? The Tesla Semi? FSD was promised 10 years ago. Solar roof panels? High speed solar charging stations? 3 minutes battery swap stations? Elon took 3 billion dollars to get lunar outpost up and running this year! He promised people on Mars in 2024. Teslas self driving taxis? What happened? Where are they? Elon claims that human testing have started on Neuralink? Where? The FDA has no knowledge of it. Twitter/X that's going great. Boring company, promised tunnels at 1-10th the cost and the dirt it removed with be made into $.10 bricks. Where are these bricks. Starlink is supposed to 42,000 low orbit satellites that have to be replaced every 5 years and only cost $100. That can't be profitable. SpaceX blows up more rockets than it gets into space.
