  1. Mike just keeps on bag holding his Putin Stock, looking for any bit of info to confirm his own biases. Any info that goes against his "To the Moon" stock is either hypocritical or propaganda or both. You would have thought with his experience in the markets, he would have learned to cut his losers.

  2. It wasn't proven to be false.

  3. ToHellor Barbados

US Imperialism versus Great Russian Nationalism. What could fucking possibly go wrong?

  4. Great powers should……?????? what exactly? Do nothing?

  5. No smile at the beginning today Mike thanks for the video much appreciated 🙂 Got that smile in at the end 🙂

  6. Ukraine did not start this war. Neither did the U.S.

    • @freesyddotcom You don't understand what fake news is.

    • @kersmash Did the USA invade the Ukraine?

    • @marktlog where hasn't the USA?? "THEY" Have there nose in everyone's bizzness

    • Cryptonite Clark

The US has been funding and training the Azov Regiment, which has nazi ideologies. Google "cia ukraine azov". There's a Guardian article on the first page that is worth reading, but also read a few of the other articles, so you get a balanced view.

    • U.S. started it when they helped overthrow the legitimate gov of Ukraine in 2014. Also NATO nuclear missiles on their doorstep is not trivial considering nuclear defense comes down to response time. That response time would be cut if nukes were parked in Ukraine. You’re a clueless lib.

  7. Use the SANCTIONS to cover up the "inflation"

  8. Van Thang Nguyen

You are a really great guy Mike. If presidents are like you, the world would be a nice place.

  9. Who did it better, Baghdad Bob or Kiev Ze?

  10. It should be obvious to everyone now that we have been in WW3 since the end of 2019. This V dropped on China, Iran, and Italy (2 days before they were supposed to leave the ECB). Expansion and contraction of all this money. The supply crunch by locking down commodity countries like Australia and Canada. They were trying to collapse China. Now they goaded Russia into right where them while we bomb the crap out of Syria and Yemen not a peep on the news. And raising rates trying to collapse overseas markets. Our oligarchs have abused the world reserve currency status. Americans would be better without it.

  11. Finance & Economics

Well put, western media has been complicit in influencing public support for war. The Iraq War was based on lies. I can't trust it.

  12. "Stop the Presses", News Flash – our government has lied to us, our leaders are hypocrites! Anybody with the I.Q. of a hammer knows we've been on the road to a 'Banna Republic' for decades. When has our Oligarch Bureaucrats and the so called 'free press' of the West ever told us the truth about anything? Building #7?, Sub-Prime housing loans scam?, Weapons of Mass Destruction?, Libyan Embassy?, Clinton Email Scam?" Lolita Island?, "Russia, Russia, Russia? " Jeffery Epstein suicide?, origin of the Corona Virus?, 2020 vote count?, side affects of the jab?, Congress' insider trading patterns?, the Afghanistan Withdrawal?, temporary inflation? and now the Ukraine? Good God, I'd be shocked, if they 'accidentally' told the truth about anything. We should go to Washington in a Volkswagon Beetle and collect the honorable Congressmen and Senator that have NOT been 'bought off' or 'blackmailed' at Lolita Island and have those handfull of Legislators reboot the Constitution and dismantle the "Police State", FBI and CIA that has hijacked our Republic. Unfortunately, it's my view we are past 'the tipping' point. God help us, Mike.

  13. If the government needs to raise $1.5T for the bill that just passed & the Fed is going to start decreasing their balance sheet, does that mean the government needs to sell bonds to the economy? Won't that suck money out of the economy & crash asset prices?

    • If the government decides to spend 1.5T they just spend it into existence. The fact that regulatory requirements demand the rough equivalent of bonds to be issued is neither here nor there. Bonds are the savings of the non-government sector. As Mike has explained ad nauseum, banks don't want to hold too many reserves because of other regulatory requirements.

    • @David Cann From what I understand the Fed would need to buy bonds (via newly created money) for the Government to spend it into existence. If the Fed are going to start reducing their balance sheet, they won't be buying bonds, so how can the Government spend $1.5T into existence?

    • @superarsenal009 fed doesn't have to buy bonds…it just means more bonds in the private sector.

  14. We need to give Putin a way out of this now to stop the blood letting on both sides. Give him the buffer states he want and stop NATO expansion. The issue is war is profitable for both sides and the rich benefit but never send their children to fight do they?! There are people who still think 'families control the world' but they are looking in the place. It's a much wider issue of greedy people working together to enrich themselves as the cost of the majority and this is West and East. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutley and out so-called leaders will all do very well out of this. I do hope that there is a God at the end of all this to punish these F***ers as something needs to happen. How did something so beautiful as planet earth become so ridden with such cancer?

  15. It's quite sad Mike, but with all the talk about "Deep State" and 'MSM fake news" you sound like Alex Jones. The difference of course, is that in the West you can say whatever you like, whereas in Russia, it's illegal to describe the war as 'a war'

  16. Cryptonite Clark

14:30 Is the $14b support for Ukraine a loan? Presumably, it includes a clause to ensure it all gets spent with US companies? That sounds like a net transfer to the US economy.

  17. Silviu Preoteasa

Was that a Joe Haldeman war reference, Mike?
Funny to dig old speculation out like that, on the gripping hand I brought Niven/Pournelle out earlier today in another conversation. I guess there is nothing new except what has been forgotten.

  18. Do american citizens support these offensive wars ? Neither do russians. I know for a fact. Separate wheat from chaff mike

  19. Russian central govt same level of geniuses when raising 20%

  20. The face high inflation and a hawkish Fed for the foreseeable future. The S&P500 will fall 20-30% below its ATH in 2022.
