  8. Hey Mike, why isn't there an option on here to give you 'thanks" money? Other YouTubers have it as a selection. If there's anyway you could get one added, I'm sure many would pay you that way since they don't subscribe to your website. It's just a suggestion.

I've suggested many solutions to his issues, and so has many others. Mike doesn't listen to his commenters. Mike knows it all. He's been invited onto other peoples channels to grow his own, and still does nothing. He may know the markets well, but I'm tired of listening to him whine.

The national debt ceiling is just a political game, they will approve it before the deadline. However, I find it hard to understand why the Biden administration is spending so much money. The US population has not increased significantly before and after the pandemic (0.5%?), but spending has increased by 40%. What is the logic here?

    your phone is fine, Mike

  11. @11:50 right! But people get confused about money supply. It's the real demand that drives sales that drives profit that drives real production. Just pumping money into the system thorough say a UBI pittance or interest-income channel is weak, it is not paying a worker the wages for producing the stuff people want, so it is too indirect and that is what is inflationary. Pump the money into good decent jobs, especially public service jobs that support the private sector, lowering their costs, and you have an awesome real production machine, and no amount of money pumped in that way is going to cause much inflation, at least no real inflation.

    • So as well as your bathtub analogy (got that off J.D. Alt?) you can also talk about the government as the coach for the economy. Private sector are the players getting the actual sport done. If you have a piss poor coach unwilling to invest their time (currency) into the system (the players) you are putting virtual plastic bags over the heads of the elite athletes (some being fast-food workers ad supermarket check-out operators or Amazon warehouse button pressers, it must be said, elite fast-food? ;-).
