Driving yourself is shit… get to a place with decent public transport… perhaps it doesn't exist in the US. Try Europe, Japan, China, etc… Sitting stuck in traffic, bizarre.

I thought the quarterly interest payments take place in Feb, May, Oct, and Nov. Isn't it September? I thought the tax drain is Sept 15.

Its always like that when moving to a new place, particularly going from NY to FLA. Its a different life in Florida. No other place like NYC.
You would like Fort Lauderdale and Key Lago, definitely not Miami. As for the driving, it's part of the process here but drive when people are at work for less stress. Hang in there same way you tell us about the markets. You've only been here less than a month.. give it some more time but definitely need to get outside.
I'm a New Yorker. I did the Florida thing. I found a better spot for us but I keep it quiet.
