Thanks for talking about the impacts of tariffs that Trump has proposed. I believe that these tariffs could be inflationary as it would reduce the imports from China and other countries that support BRICS and are trying to find an alternative to USD as a reserve currency. Wouldn't this reduction in imports cause an inflationary pressure on the economy, leading the FED to raise rates again (based on their monetarism), or perhaps not reduce the rates so much as the market expects. Do you still think that long bond trade (TLT) is in play? Would love to hear your thoughts.
