Mike, a friend, our age, died of a heart attack on a marathon. I would suggest ask your doctor about taking a low dose of some Coumadin or Warfarin (same, generic) for a few days, or at least some extra aspirin.
Ask your doctor. I'm not. I take Warfarin, 10mg to 12mg daily, to keep my INR above 2 to avoid clots (persistent AFib arising after valve repair) and ideally below 3 to reduce risk of bleeding (but it's not really a bleeding risk until 5 or higher) It's just but of a p.i.t.a. to regulate with diet. Vitamin K like excess spinach and greens pushes INR lower, but Vitamin D and some herbs can push it higher.

I never understand why business owners don't see that workers are also customers. Income = purchasing power => Spending => profits.
Workers are an expense. Wages, sick pay, holiday pay etc, This is why businesses automate: reducing costs = lower product prices = more sales = more profit even if margins are reduced. Workers should Increase skills because that = better job = higher income.

Kids need to go back to work. Crime is on the uptick because of all the idle hands. It's not just about the economics but it's the emotional health of living a life with purpose. Government disincentives and meddling is wreaking havoc.

If you are a buisness owner who cant find workers because of the federal unemployment program, then close up shop and relocate to states like Montana that are ending it. If enough businesses do that we can finally put the last nail in the coffin of states that have been on a road to self destruction for a long time.

Listen to you every day. 99% thumbs up.
But your skewed view of why workers are not rushing back to work, (because corporate wages are unfair for forty years now), is a combo of living in NYC far too long, combined with a heart for the little guy.
The reaction to Covid is what has artificially skewed the wage/labor market. I think your blame game is misplaced.

7:44 I stopped watching + reading most 'news' channels/sites a couple years ago, it's toxic and most of the time you can't get the facts. Instead i read up on subjects that are relevant to me, follow youtubers on subjects i'm interested in + i read local community news. I still have a wall street journal subscription but only read an article 1x per week if that.
I also subscribe to quite a few substack newsletters written by people that are experts in whatever industry/field they are writing about
