Do you realize that there are two bills in front of Trump to sign. One is the annual expenditure of US government that always has had foreign aid in it. And a bill for COVID relief , and in the COVID relief bill not 1 cent is going to foreign countries. Make sure you are not looking at the bill for Total annual spending of US government.
@DUCATIPUNK Trump wanted $2000 for stimulus not lousy $600 which the Stimulus Bill offered. He will sign if Dems agree to $2000 and reduce wasteful spending on countries like Egypt, Pakistan and Cambodia.
@Tina Ryan Whatever happened to page numbers ? The bill has been in negotiations for months, I am sure Trump had representation in the negotiations, if he was genuinely concerned he had plenty of time to bring up the $2000 relief knowing that Democrats would go for it too.

A separate bill is the COVID relief bill which doesn’t have a red cent going to any foreign country. First as a result of lockdown you have reduced production then you have people with their income plus the check outbidding folks who only have the check to get by. If you have your job and can still work from home no reason to get a check.

You are right eg investing for the long term but for a person to be able to invest long term they have to be able to hold the postitions long term and for some investors day trading initially may be an option for some in order to make the money to be able to invest long term

Eg for a person to have invested in bitcoin in 2009 they firstly needed to know bitcoin even existed in 2009 and to have made the most profit in bitcoin from buying bitcoin for
$0.003 in 2009 and selling it today when bitcoin reached $24 k a person would have had to resist selling their bitcoin in november 2017 at $19k per bitcoin etc
