    • @Pete D Hahahahahaha, are you serious dude?

How does any knowledge make anyone's lives better? Through application.

MMT can improve our lives by ensuring that spending choices are better informed.

You just want to argue about politics. You are here because you think MMT is socialist and you just want to fight and argue and stomp your feet alot.

You are not here in good faith and you don't actually want a real answer from me.

    • @Will Finn Monetary policy is decided by people in power. The democrats and the republicans both have their own idea of how money should be spent. Do you have any opinion on this. All you talk about is monetary theory. Do you think Jerome Powell is doing a good job as Fed chief? There is more to life than monetary theory. Do you have any opinion on issues facing the country. Border control, gun control, Black Lives Matter, Defunding the police. Sounds to me you keep your head in the sand. I think the country is on the verge of another civil War. People are killing each other over stupid things. We are doomed. I am tired of your mmt talk. MMT is not going to solve these issues.

    • @Pete D You don't even know what monetary policy is, LOL. Dems and Reps arguing in Congress to decide how money is spent is FISCAL POLICY.

I have opinions on every one of those things but it isn't worth my time to discuss them with you because you aren't here in good faith to discuss them. You just want to argue.

If you are tired of MMT talk, why do you comment everyday on a channel that is almost entirely focused on discussing MMT? Just move along to an echo chamber that makes you more comfortable. You will embarrass yourself less that way.

    • @Will Finn Sorry I invaded you and Mike Norman's sanctuary. You and your 200 followers have fun contemplating your navels. I am out of here………..

    • @Pete D Bon Voyage

Mini Futures Bitcoin 80000 contracts, this is a trading vehicle only , based on the one and only factor, that he who buys bitcoin believes he can sell it to a bigger fool for a profit. No value just a result of the bubble machine of flooding the world with US dollars.

  10. Finance & Economics

I like the way you put that … Bitcoin is a manifestation of global de-dollarization.

  11. PhiladelphiYAHH&Smyrna

Not to mention that negative Stanley thinks the fed will cause the dollar to lose global reserve currency status.

  12. The fire is over stoked … time to clean the forge

  13. COVFEFEKING MAGA

Sleepy Joe is on the job. Have no fear

  14. Man I was depressed these last couple of days of how bad I got hit. 30% down, but Mike kinda calms me down. I appreciate that Mike.

    • I wonder if you feel the same way when you blow your account. This can be just the beginning of a meltdown.

    • @J P it could be. Most of my portfolio is stocks so I will weather those. Bad part is the options, but most of those are leaps. Still bad. Who knows.

  15. Local currency debt is a non issue

  16. The market probably dropped because people kept saying it was a bubble. So, to get that out of the system, boom.
Elon, probably got threatened by the powers that be. Don't think the gas industry is going to roll over and let electric cars take over. Study history on that one. Corruption abounds.

  17. Great podcast Mike you're right it is all economics I wish more people realize that. Have a good hike

  18. An alternative payment system that hardly anyone uses to makes payments. Come on Mike.

  19. 4 times since 2008 my town in NC mountains had run out of gas.

  20. Musk isn't concerned about BTC's environmental impact. If he was they wouldn't have accepted it in the first place. BTC is useless as a payment system as transaction costs are enormous and NOBODY WANTS TO SPEND IT. The amount of commerce denominated in BTC is pathetically tiny. BTC has been an enormous success as a speculative token but has completely failed as a currency or payment system, except among criminal groups/spies/etc.
