Doesnt the Fed Fund Window give private low interest loans (cash ) at present rate and Member banks turn around and buy the US Treasuries to fund the govt. Not a bad deal borrow unlimited money from fiat hot air fed window and turn around and make the interest on the treasury interest rates.

I had a hip joint replacement 3 weeks ago and already walking much better. I have check up in three weeks and was advised if have dental appointment to let my orthopedic doc know so he could put me on a round of antibiotics. Yeah your mouth is a breeding ground of bacteria etc that can effect your physiology.

I don't like the word metaverse, which has been co-opted by Meta/Facebook. I would like for there to be competition within the virtual reality universe.
They've made a few misteps lately, like overpricing their newest headset.
I pose this thought Mike, There are those who blame the gold standard for past wars and instablitiy, than there are those who say MMT and QE do the samething as the gold standard . I say the commonality between these two attempts to manipulate price discovery to enrich the managers of these system is exactly the same. Human nature never changes. Next the digital money system that will finish off the freedom of people to discover price of goods and services . And even worse the total control of all people who oppose the owners. This digital system if implemented can destroy a dissident with the click of a button, and remove that dissident from the planet . Human nature the battle of the haves and the have nots, those winning at the present game rules, and those losing at the present game rules who want to change them. This conflict goes on and on. In the end when the bullets are flying best you can do is your not in the line of fire to catch one.

Off topic, but is there a specific congressional mandate that the Treasury General Account never be overdrawn? If so, does the Fed enforce that mandate? Or is the Treasury careful to never overdraw it? Thanks.
