  1. Thanks for the warning, I was considering going to see the ball drop in person but I had no idea about the barricades. Will need to adjust plans. Where can I find those quarterly tax drains you mention? I was looking around in the Treasury Quarterly Refunding docs but didn't see it there, maybe I wasn't looking hard enough? Cheers!

  3. Ultimate contrarian move is to go to bed early on New Year's Eve.

  4. agree Mike. Hate New Years too…

  5. LOL … "experts" are precious. aren't they…

  6. Best new year to you Mike. Big year ahead.

I avoid large crowds, wouldn't want to be at Times Square, even if they paid me to be there. As far as Los Angeles/Southern California there are some nice fireworks displays all over, at some beaches too.

I usually watch the Seattle Space Needle New Years celebration instead of what's going on in New York. It's more interesting to me.

  8. Everything is proceeding as MMT has foreseen.

  9. New Years Eve is for hooking up. If you're not going to hook up you may as well go to sleep.

  10. Mike, thank you so much for making these videos. I know so much about trading because of you. Cheers, and Happy New Year.

true , I just stay home & finish watching the Twight zone marathon with a bunch of junk food..

  12. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👁

  13. I was at Times Square for 1973 New Years Eve and it was wild. There was definitely alcohol and the area was a lot more sleazy. I remember seeing a man beating up a woman and her wig flying off. Deep Throat was playing at the movies. From that point on I just watched it on TV every year.

  14. Happy New Year Mike 🙂

  15. I just don't think Fed Ex represents the broader economy. I believe Amazon, UPS and USPS are eating their lunch. Fed Ex is just too expensive and the competition is too fierce.

  16. You are right Mike NYE is overrated. However I wish you the best for 2024!
