Why isn’t the Japanese economy stronger. They are net exporters and they are big fiscal spenders? And Mike we are experiencing inflation in Japan. In recent months food prices and energy prices have gone up significantly.
They aren't making enough new people to replace the old people who are aging into retirement and death such that their population is shrinking year over year. It's pretty much impossible to grow an economy on a shrinking population: there's no way that any increase in productivity per worker can outpace decrease in the amount of workers indefinitely.
Exactly right old man.
Mike sold the Camaro and bought a Cadillac so he could retire in Florida jk… great video 👍👍

can you explain the concept of tax drain?
When The Federal Government taxes, that takes base money out of existence. In order to maintain the base money supply, the government must spend more money into existence than it taxes out of existence.
wise words
Mike as a child in third grade, we spent the entire year on simple faction arithmetic.
A child’s mind is primed for learning, flows and MMT for adults will demand a lot of repetition.
I will thank you now and later 🙂
