I respect Mike Norman, he has the decency to let people know how money and the financial system really works (he knows MMT). Where others such as the guy mike is talking about in this video, simply exchange fake economic knowledge and fear for profit. A few years back the New times published an article about how you-tubers can buy subscribers to game the youtube algorithm. It costs about $15-20 per 1000 subscribers (google it). This is the possible reason this guy (who Mike is taking about) has so many subscribers. The guy Mike is talking about in this video will never admit the economic truth, his business model depends on the fake information he is selling to his monthly subscribers.

Our monetary systems have biases built in.
The institutions themselves, from their history of development, and from the people running the system will favour the already powerful and wealthy. Their messaging is amplified and propagated regardless of the actual validity and usefulness of their ideas.
It's sort of natural that the framework of "understanding" around this system follows those biases.

People hate the truth it's as simple as that. When truth is known – it means YOU have to CHANGE yourself your ways and that's like kicking yourself in the nuts. It's purely subconscious defence as everything in human mind. Some people have too much to lose if they change their minds.
For example, imagine this guy opens his mind and changes his views. What should he do then? Tell all his 100k subs that he was wrong ALL THAT TIME? He's channel is finished after that… He won't even think about it. For other people reasons could be individually different.
