Aron Maté makes a case that we have been making here at MNE for a long time. Amazing how long this can be sustained without substantiation. It doesn't speak well for the critical thinking skills of Americans, if in fact most are being taken it by the sleight of hand.

There is a huge difference between allegations and evidence, especially when those making the allegations have an interest in controlling the narrative to support their interests against the interest of the other parties involved for a variety of well-established reasons. At this level it government, the modus operandi has been given a name, "McCarthyism."

This is not to say that the allegations are false. It is simply to say that the truth or falsity has not been established. Yet, the media often spins a narrative as if it has. This has been woven into a Big Lie aimed at "reality creation" by creating a consensus reality based on manipulated perception.
