The North Korean government may well be crazed, but you have to look at the whole of North Korea's history. Propaganda is so effective in the West because people believe we have free press. Also, the mainstream news programmes are manned mainly by Conservative voting liberals, who are trained at the top

Also, the news anchors themselves probably believe the propaganda that is being fed to them.
