If the skies are clear tonight by you, it may be interesting to look to the sky to see the Moon. Supposedly it is blue, full, and what is called a super moon. What is a super blue moon and why is it so rare? What is so special about the August 19 super blue moon. Proposal on family seating comes as officials have raised...

Commentaries by Two of My Fav Writers

Two interesting commentaries up next. One by Prof. Heather Cox-Richardson (Letters from an American) and the other from Joyce Vance (Civil Discourse). I read them both after I read the commentaries from our own writers. The topic by both should not be surprising. Both are discussing Trumps breakdown when asked questions about his beliefs on race. Yes, I stopped just short of calling Trump a racist. What was once spoken in privacy, Trump has...

Contrast of Biden’s Last Act

As taken from The Atlantic’s David Frum to which I subscribe. Bidens address explains why he was relinquishing power by marking himself as a modern Cincinnatus in actions . . . and his Republican rival as a new Catiline. Two political myths inspired the dreams and haunted the nightmares of the Founders of the American republic. Both these foundational myths were learned from the history and literature of the ancient Romans. The story?...
