hey , Mike being you are from NYC could you discuss in a video how this migrant crisis in NYC is going to bankrupt NYC the city is going to spend billions on those people…
80-90% of "those people " will go to work and add to the economy, not subtract.
that's the goal but I doubt it… it comes down to supply ,& demand ,& basic economics. the fact is NYC can NOT sustain all those migrant's NOT enough money ,not enough demand, not enough supply.
Most of them will end up leaving the state over time, & working for the underground econ for their handlers. just like sex workers are being sex trafficked they will also be trafficked to work in the underground econ off the books for slave labor. those newcomers don't have a bright future.. the city is saying they want to fast track them with work permits ,but so what? still the demand for their labor is NOT in demand.. NOBODY asked them to come.. @Jason
Mike, appreciate your perspective, and inching closer to becoming a subscriber on pitbulleconomics. I'm too cheap and shortsighted to pull the trigger, but I'm softening up. 😉 In the meantime, the following blast-from-the-past video of you (11 years ago?) popped up on my feed. Love how you communicate, especially in a 'hostile' environment with the interviewer not having a clue about what you were trying to explain to her. Classic… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8ylrL2lgbg
BTW you mentioned David Rubenstein, does not run a hedge fund but a private firm Caryle Group that buys companies.
Mike, what’s your take on the essentially unlimited demand for usd via the eurodollar system? Is this demand super deflationary? How can anyone claim inflation is coming, ever, with such enormous unmet demand for usd?
I'm mexican and have a question. How will the USDC impact the global economy when the Fed introduce it? I understand the electronic money system will be changed to put in place a new digital encripted money system. What do you think about this Mr Mike?
