There was a recession and corporations didn’t do layoffs because the recession was small but protracted.
Now they all do layoffs while the economy is taking off because of projections based on last year’s recession data.

My Asian ETF went up more than 5% today.
She was right Mike. People burn through their cash which leaves them with no option of investing into the garbage market. They buy food and shelter instead. Not bitcoin and Sofi stocks.
And where does the money go? To whom does it go? And how do they, in turn, spend it?
If people spend more than their income and rely on credit to live… that's a problem. Mike spoke the other day about how consumer debt is at a manageable level currently- especially compared to 2007-2010 when it blew up. If everyone starts defaulting, look out. So far, so good.
They stopped fractional reserve in 2020. Anyone who wants a loan can get it.
