  1. Visited socal. The smell. Algae bloom? Couldn't leave soon enough.

  2. Always appreciate the mental game discussion, Mike!

  3. Kudos to you Mike. I found out about MMT while scrolling through Facebook ten years ago. It was a channel called RealProgressives hosted by Steve Grumbine, it blew my mind and through him I found out about Stephanie Kelton, Warren Mossler, Randy Wray, Bill Mitchell and others and the information given really blew my mind. Somewhere in there I found your channel scrolling through You Tube. Anyway I educated myself on how the monetary system functions to a great deal that I ended up buying and studying the MMT textbook. I do understand how hard it is to logically point out to people how the monetary system really works. It's like everybody is brainwashed, like as you say we're not living in the gold standard anymore, but mainstream economics still does. I guess everyone has to come to this realization by themselves. One main thing I would like to say however, is that MMT literature doesn't teach investing to the level you do for sure. Your insights on fiscal flows is awesome when relating to investing. So hang in there Mike you have a lot of people that support you. You are an educator, but the students have got to want to learn first.

  7. 💡 the real question is what is Mike's CAGR % since he started investing, that is a fair question to ask to track performance specially over a long period of time

Fantastic message Mike. Don't pay heed to the cynics. Realize that a lot of the younger generation have been trained to be helpless. They're rewarded for doing nothing – participation trophies, getting virtue signaling dopamine hits. They watch other peoples' lives – don't live their own. I'm a couple years younger than you and had to do stuff myself – buy a book to learn DOS programming to automate tasks at work. At home, buy a tile saw and learn to lay tile etc. You motivated me to go shopping for a new tool – your video courses! Got to get a better handle on investing. Don't stop doing these videos please! So many of the smartest people I follow are freaking out over the debt.

I remember 5 years ago you argued federal debt abd spending was not a problem for the government. I said, the price will be paid by having a currency that will buy far less in the future….
