Mike, move to downtown West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale. Very walkable but you will still want to have a car.

Mike your next video is in Laguna Beach . I was born in Oceanside California grew up in Tustin and South Laguna Beach were my Nana lived. . My Dad was a Marine aviator Executive Officer of the famous squadron VMFA-121 stationed at El Toro. . I'm alittle older than you and have same quandary of where I want to permanently retire. I was thinking of moving to NYC, but think it will be too much now. Lived there in my Hutton days. I met Donal Trump many times at clubs and events. He liked my southern accent I gained living in Virginia. and attitude. Later got appointment with him.. I pitched my skills. I was not a trader then in retail customers. He set up a $5 million account with me and said buy me high dividend stocks you like. A couple of major gold miners. Last time I saw him right before he was President I asked what of the portfolio I bought you he said he still owns. I'll tell you this Trump likes gold.
I'm seriously condersing moving to a beach cove waterfront properties in South Laguna Beach. Super nice. Considered Palm Beach both areas .Very pricy. The last house my RE agent showed me in South Laguna Beach the property was $13 million. I can afford for cash. Or How I bought boring stocks in the 80s, Home Depot in the cents, MCD under $2.00, both over $200 /share, P&G, GE ups and downs, a slew of MIC stocks, Chevron, Phillips, Occidental, ExxonMobil, others and have held all this time. I'm cashing out now Not because of stupid scare of a market crash. Some in my big extended family need help in medical situations of children that are austic and cripple up, over indebted, student loans, etc. I've offered to pay off their mortgages. I'll pay all that off.
BtW I met Trump at Trump Tower on 56 St. His penthouse was covered in 24K gold leaf. He got MBA at Wharton or some claim a Bachlor of Science, so what, that school had a different look at economics.
